這個星期三3/10/2010是Last day!!!
如果要愐懷就要抓緊時間了--今天&明天
我已經約好三兩好友到茶坊愐懷我們已前美好的時光。
香港流行的集體回憶--茶坊的集體回憶，大家要趕快了。

At Grand Harmony, me and my friend just call on random things. So this is what we got while those mid-age ladies push their cars: first plate is seasame roll, second we got two plates of shrimp rice roll (they look so good with the vegies!) and finally egg yolk buns. When we try all of them, they all have their different unique taste. Seasame rolls taste so sweet! Rice rolls is not salty and not plain, but the greenie vegies are bitter which I don't like (but not hate). egg yolk buns are fine, they are like regular buns from bakery. total is $10.50, with $2.19 tips...

已在附近住了十幾年，似乎這裡的所有外賣店都食過。

隨著今年福建飲食風，八大道的粵式餐廳有剪無加，
而相信趨勢會繼續下去。
餐廳內部不錯，食品只能說一般般，有朋友說他們的雞肉非常好，個人覺得還好。
這家餐廳叫過3次外賣，不過最近已經沒有了，原因是因為送餐真的是太慢了，
要不是看到送餐來的是一位正妹，我真的會打電話回去投訴，
而且東西還給我送錯了，算了，看在送餐是女生的份上我就再叫兩次，
結果呢，又是這麼慢，一個葡式豬扒飯用了近一個鐘頭。

現在八大道的餐廳如果要有送餐，那麼速度和味道其中一樣要有一定的要求，
東西只是平平的送餐就一定要快，同福建餐的神速送餐相比，真的差太遠了，
這個不改，八大道的港粵餐廳將會越來越少。

 

巴多士越南 餐舘 is  more like a mixture of asian food. I never know that Vietnam have chinese names for their food. Today, I went to 巴多士越南餐舘 and ordered chicken, vegies, and meat frie rice and warm milk tea. The rice taste pretty good but I think it is a little bite too salty. I really like the carrots because they are half raw, the chickens breast are a little fat. Milk tea taste better than I thought. It is so silky and sweet, unlike others, it is warm not too cold or extremely hot. They waitors are nice but they are a bit slow in serving. The total for this meal is 10.25 plus 2 dollar tips. After all, I am pretty happy about it! ^_^ 

金源大酒樓是一家辦婚禮的好去處. 此處雖小, 但是經過一番布置的話, 還是蠻體面的!!

I don't know why but every time I am going to school I always want to have breakfast at this bakery. This time is... I think it is a pineapple with butter bun? I love the shape it has, it looks like a regular bun but the butter made the center of the bun like a chinese character 人, I think it is pretty cool. (I bought 2 and the service is getting better the way they hand you stuff)

本以為能有點香港特色, 誰知真的一般到不能再一般!

Not bad service and we liked the food which was hong kong style cantonese (if you don't like MSG then don't go; my wife and I are from HK and grew up consuming MSG so not an issue for us at all).  We had steamed shrimps, mushroom & beef, lamb casserole, lotus roots, goose feet + lots of complimentary dessert which was a nice touch. Slightly more expensive than we thought but they do give you big portions.  We haven't been to a lot of Brooklyn Chinese restaurants yet but this is definitely a cut above anything we have tasted in the Mott & Canal area.
